First of all, I want to <br /> express my regret that you and your husband were unable to sit while you waited to get <br /> your driver's licenses renewed. <br /> Our Department of Public Works are building benches to replace the worn chairs <br /> inside the Vehicle Registration & Licensing office in Hilo. <br /> We are also working with the Finance and Police Department to see what we can <br /> do to install benches or folding chairs for people waiting outside the Vehicle Registration <br /> & Licensing office.
