Cullen, Vice Chair <br />Committee on Finance <br />Dear Chair Luke, Vice Chair Cullen, and Committee Members: <br />RE: HB 527, HD1 Relating to the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation <br />Thank you for this opportunity to support the creation of a full-time catheterization laboratory at Hilo <br />Medical Center (HMC). <br />For better or worse, over the past few years, I have developed an ongoing and personal relationship <br />with HMC and a number of other medical institutions. HMC has given me excellent service, and Hawaii <br />should be very pleased with the quality of care it provides. However, it could do even more if more resources <br />were available, and better cardiac care has been identified as a priority. <br />Please act favorably on HB 527, HD1.
