COMPLIANCE <br />• TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL: <br />1/28/19: The Kealakehe WWTP experienced a 100-gallon spill from the influent line <br />due to a downed bar screen. The bar screen was promptly repaired and brought <br />back online. <br />1/12/19: The Kulaimano WWTP experienced a spill of approximately 300 gallons of <br />influent in the parking lot outside of the headworks building. The drain on the grit <br />auger had plugged and overflowed the dam area of the auger. The flow was <br />contained onsite within the immediate area of the headworks building. <br />• COLLECTION SYSTEM: No report. <br /> <br />2. OPERATIONS <br />A. TREATMENT/COLLECTION SYSTEMS AND PUMPING STATIONS/ FORCE MAINS: <br />• Unscheduled repairs/upgrades/replacement of failing equipment due to age <br />and prolonged wear and tear continue where necessary throughout the <br />wastewater facilities. <br />B. SAFETY PRACTICES/TRAINING: <br />• WWD Administration continues to review and update the Emergency <br />Response Procedures and the Standard Safety Procedures and the weekly <br />safety meeting agendas. <br />9 <br /> <br />
