Provide a brief description of the purpose of the proposed charter amendment; include <br />a description of the issue the proposal would address: <br />The proposed amendment adds minimum qualifications to be considered for the position <br />of corporation counsel, requiring minimum years of experience in the practice of law and <br />in administrative experience relating to management and supervision of a legal <br />department. The Office of the Corporation Counsel supports this proposed amendment <br />(Comm. 1.9). <br />4.
