I'm the President of Ola Brew as well as the <br />Marketing Director. <br />Taffany: Zachary Taffany, new COO. <br />Nahale-a: Good morning, thank you. <br />Gonzalez: Madam Chair, this is an application for an increase in the licensed premises to <br />include the Tap Room extension for a retail area for growler filling, and various merchandise <br />and packaged items sales. <br />Nahale-a: It's the purple area on the floor plan you provided? <br />Gonzalez: Yes. <br />Nahale-a: Yes. Since the applicants are here, Commissioners, any questions? <br />Gonzalez: If I may? Good morning, thank you for coming. Can you describe for the <br />Commissioners the types of merchandise or packaged goods you are thinking about selling in <br />this area? <br />Breeland: Yes. In our Tap Room we are currently selling shirts and hats. Basically, that's the <br />extent of our merchandise. We are looking to expand on those sales this year, so we've <br />started purchasing more merchandise like coffee mugs, koozies, Frisbees, shorts and aloha <br />print shirts. We'd like to sell out of that new area. We would also have a growler fill as well as <br />all of our canned packaged goods. That would be like the off -premises sales for our liquor. <br />Gonzalez: Also, looking at the floor plan that you provided to the Department on January 3, <br />2019, it looks like there is a wall separating the Tap Room and the Tap Room extension area <br />that you are applying for. Is that correct? Is there a wall? <br />Breeland: Yes, that's correct. We will build a door, a fire proof door that we'll keep closed <br />until people are going in there. <br />Gonzalez: My final question, is there going to be an employee in the extension area to <br />monitor the merchandise? <br />Breeland: Yes, we'll always have an employee there.
