Big Island Distillers Inc., dba Big Island Distillers, pursuant to <br />Rule 4-2-M of the Rules and Regulations of the Liquor Commission <br />of the Department of Liquor Control of the County of Hawaii, <br />State of Hawaii, requests approval to extend the time issuance of <br />its Small Craft Producer Pub liquor license, Category A, for an <br />additional six months from January 4, 2019, to and including <br />July 4, 2019, by email dated January 11, 2019. <br />Nahale-a: Could I please get a motion requesting a finding of good cause for this extension? <br />Gonzalez: Madam Chair, to give the Commission more insight to the basis for the good <br />cause, this applicant/licensee was working concurrently to obtain government approvals from <br />various State and Federal agencies. He's gotten most of them, but there are a few things he <br />has to take care of with the Fire Department/Building Department of the County which is <br />preventing him from asking for the (Department of) Liquor final inspection.
