Discussion? What is this about? <br />Takase: We allow licensees to get together and buy together. Wholesalers will offer <br />discounts if you buy in volume. What the "little guys" can't get are these discounts. In <br />this case, he actually owns these three places and he's asking to buy it all under one <br />name. That's why the outside permit as well. If he gets enough, he's entitled to <br />discounts available from the wholesalers. <br />Greenwell: How does Hawaii True Value fit into this? <br />Takase: Hawaii True Value sounds like a hardware store, but it's also a convenience <br />store in Volcano that's actually next to the Thai Thai Bistro and Bar restaurant. <br />Hughes: It's not an Ace Hardware? <br />Takase: It is a True Value Hardware, but they also are a convenience store up in the <br />village. <br />Taniguchi: Good question.
