Page 34
MS. SELF: They meet in the evening.
But the problem is with the staffing. They
have to pay overtime to the staff; so then you run up
the budget, you know. FRATINARDO: Sure.
CHAIR: And, remember, the council still
meets in the daytime.
MR. FRATINARDO: Sure.
CHAIR: So --
MS. SELF: Yeah. And then we wouldn't have
Teri.
CHAIR: Again --
MR. FRATINARDO: It's one of those situations
where it's not a perfect world.
CHAIR: Yeah.
MR. FRATINARDO: But people complain to us
about, "Oh, you are giving all of this money away."
Take a day off and show up. I don't know. Submit a
letter to the Commission.
CHAIR: Or submit a letter. A letter is just
as valuable as them attending.
MR. FRATINARDO: Yeah.
ISLAND COURT REPORTING & TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES
(808) 933-9800
