Kimo Alameda, Ph.D. <br />Eveculive on AQim, <br />Should we bring Case Management (CM) in-house? Kimo gave us a presentation <br />with his reasons for proposing to do so in December 2018. The Advisory Committee <br />had many questions about whether this change would be an improvement to CM, but <br />was not sure if there were options given the compliance issue. <br />We used our Area Plan Sub -Committee to investigate further, and started with our <br />own questions: <br />(1) What should be the main function of the Hawai'i County Office of Aging <br />(HCOA), planning or service provider? <br />(2) What are the problems we see with Case Management now? <br />We will discuss the report and the full Committee will vote to approve or disapprove <br />its recommendations. <br />Hawaii County is an Equal Opporrtunh)) Provider and Employer.
