Hawai`i County Charter Commission -8 February 8, 2019 <br />APPROVAL OF <br />MINUTES: <br />CHR. ADAMS: Test. Great, thank you. We are back in session. I would <br />entertain a motion to approve the minutes of the, the regular meeting minutes of <br />January 25, 2019. <br />Moved by Commissioner Zelko, seconded by Commissioner Bergin. Any <br />discussion on the minutes themselves? <br />Commissioner Roehrig. <br />MR. ROEHRIG: Small comment. I think it's kind of a waste of Shannon's time <br />to have to translate the minutes. <br />CHR. ADAMS: Thank you. Any other comments? Alright, all in favor of the <br />motion to approve the minutes please signify by saying "aye" (aye), any opposed? <br />Alright, the motion passes 8-0 with Commissioners Saquing, Leithead-Todd, and <br />Hopkins absent. <br />The Chair directed the Commission to proceed to the next order of business, <br />Approval of Minutes. <br />Vote on Motion <br />To Approve Minutes: <br />(Approved) <br />COMMUNI- <br />CATIONS: <br />Commissioner Zelko-Schlueter moved to approve the <br />minutes of January 25, 2019. Seconded by Commissioner <br />Roehirg and carried by the following voice vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Bergin, Galirnba, Hamano, <br />Rice, Roehrig, Springer, Zelko-Schlueter, <br />and Chair Adams — 8 <br />Noes: None. <br />Absent: Commissioners Hopkins, Saquing, and <br />Todd - 3 <br />Excused: None. <br />The Chair directed the Commission to proceed to the next order of business, <br />Communications. <br />CHR. ADAMS: Moving on to Communications, Communication No. 12.3, <br />Discussion Protocols for Public Hearings, I would if I may, draw your attention to <br />the Communication itself. The purpose of this Communication is to let the <br />Commissioners know and of course the public as well, as we approach the public <br />hearings which we have tentatively scheduled to be convened between Monday, <br />March 25th and Friday, April 4th.
