Continued discussion as to what the Commission can do to promote <br />homeowner R-1 water reuse and graywater reuse. <br /> <br />b. Status of the proposed subcommittee, which is to explore efforts to provide sewer <br />services to the non-sewered regions of South Aliʻi Drive and Keauhou Bay. <br /> <br />c. Review the Commission’s table of Motions, Policy Recommendations, and Various <br />Requests and discuss follow-up. <br /> <br />5. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />a. Discuss the Department of Environmental Management’s responsibilities for the use <br />of R-1 reclaimed water by private entities. <br /> <br />b. Discuss progress and future efforts to identify and control brackish water infiltration <br />in coastal sewer lines. <br /> <br />c. Discuss the options and procedure to update the Commission’s scope in order to be <br />more aligned with the Department’s functions in the foreseeable future. <br /> <br />d. Discuss a recommendation that the Department of Environmental Management apply <br />for a National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for the Soil <br />Aquifer Treatment (SAT) pond operations of the Kealakehe Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant R-1 Upgrade Project. <br /> <br />6.
