Resolution 665/666-20 that supports Small Business would be of great assistance while we repurpose our agriculture and manufacturing activities to innovate furthering market strategies in support of our communities. State of Hawaii tea growers and farms have established production value and research with USDA, HDOA, HFSA and numerous organizations that have data on Tea as a national crop to be listed in Specialty Crop category. Private sector numbers include tea crop loss during Coronavirus pandemic estimating $15,000, per Hawaii Tea farm in commercial production_ Statewideapproximately $200,000 plus lost revenue during this outlined period. Please consider Resolution 665/666-20 to support Hawaii County tea agriculture.
