J��YOsp... <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII I*� �= /:• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 697 20 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF A COLOR COPIER AND TONER SUPPLIES TO THE <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br /> RECREATION <br /> WHEREAS, Able Electric, Inc. is donating a Xerox Work Centre 7830 color copier <br /> and toner supplies to the County of Hawai`i Department of Parks & Recreation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the copier and supplies, valued at $5,230, will be used by the <br /> department's Elderly Activities staff at the Kamana Senior Center; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawai`i County Charter, provides that the <br /> council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br /> personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of this <br /> donation; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, , in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawai`i County Charter, the County of <br /> Hawai`i, accepts this donation. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this <br /> resolution be sent to Able Electric, Inc., 567 Kanoelehua Ave., Hilo, HI 96720, <br /> acknowledging this generous donation. <br />
