Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a new multi-year lease agreement for a color copy machine for the Department of
Research and Development. The monthly cost will be approximately $112.50. The lease
for the current copier has expired and the department wishes to enter into a new lease
agreement.

A. REQUEST:
To enter into a multi-year lease agreement for five (5) years for a copy machine to be located at the
Department of Research & Development in Hilo.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The lease on the current copier has expired. The Department is anticipating a monthly lease of no more
than 60 months (5-year lease) at approximately $112.50 per month.
The cost per copy shall not exceed B&W per print rate of$0.0082 (for prints more than 2,000 per month) and
Color per print rate of$0.0459.
