RE: OPPOSE Appendix L of Bill 179 (Comm. 989)

Aloha Council,
I strongly oppose Appendix L; "Factory-built Housing (FBH)" and all references to FBH in the
proposed Ordinance, pages 90-92.
This section will replace or reduce jobs in the construction industry, which plays a vital role in
stimulating the local economy.
I am a carpenter residing in District 1; however, I work on other islands throughout the year and
returning home only for the weekend, due to no jobs on the Big Island.
