Per discussion with your staff, we understand that the facility does snot currently experience odor problems. Repairing the odor control equipment ,V, requires considerable redesign and construction expense. Continued operation of the equipment is not expected to result in a significant reduction oP odors. Thus, we agree that further expenditure of funds to repair the odor control equipment is not warranted at this time- However, should odor problems be encountered in the Future, the necessary repairs should be accomplished, In the interim, the existing odor control equipment should be kept in a condition to be operable in the future. Should you have any questions, please call Ken Muranaka oP our Wastewater Branch at telephone no. 5&6-4294. sincerely, THOMA5 E. ARZZUMI, P.E.
