Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 699-20, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 699-20, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 1018
dated July 17, 2020, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one fiscal
year for a multi-year lease for one color copy machine for the Department of Research and Development.
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement with an approximate
monthly cost of$112.50 and provides for the County to own the equipment at the end of the lease.
A motion to move Resolution No. 699-20 to Council with a positive recommendation was made by
Council Member Villegas, and seconded by Council Member Eoff, with no discussion had.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 699-20, and
recommends its adoption.
