Your Committee on Public Works and Mass Transit, to which was referred Resolution No. 693-20,
reports as follows:
Resolution No. 693-20, introduced by Committee Chair Susan L. K. Lee Loy and transmitted by
Deputy Corporation Counsel Danny B. Patel via Communication No. 1012, dated July 15, 2020, accepts
the dedication of Roadway Lot A (Kukuinui Place), identified as Tax Map Key: 7-3-028:115, situated
on the westerly end of Kukuinui Place being also approximately 240 feet westerly of Holoholo Street at
Kalaoa 4th, Island and County of Hawai`i, State of Hawai`i, from RS10 Kalaoa, LLC, a Hawai`i Limited
Liability Company.
Committee Member Karen Eoff, in whose district the roadway parcel is located, spoke in favor of the
resolution, noted the location of the parcel in relation to existing streets and expressed gratitude for all
the work that has been done up to this point.
Chair Lee Loy noted letters in support of the County accepting the dedication from the Department of
Environmental Management, the Department of Water Supply, the Planning Department, and the
Department of Public Works.
Your Committee on Public Works and Mass Transit is in accord with the purpose and intent of
Resolution No. 693-20, and recommends its adoption.
