HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 282 Draft 01 1969-1972 County of Hawaii--State of Hawaii Resolution WHEREAS , a new road, known commonly as the Kuakini Highway, has been constructed in the District of North Kona, County and State of Hawaii; and WHEREAS, the construction of said Kuakini Highway has created a road remnant which is no longer of any use to the County of Hawaii, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the portion of the Old Kailua-Keauhou Middle Road, as shown in red on the map attached hereto and marked Exhibit A, be and is hereby declared abandoned as a roadway. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be authorized and directed to forward a copy of this resolution to Mr. Sunao Kido, Mr. James Detor, Mrs. Mildred Yamamoto, Mr. Charles Schuster and to the Departments of Water Supply and Public Works of the County of Hawaii.
