SUBJECT: C-970 - OLD KAILUA-KEAUHOU MIDDLE ROAD
Our investigation of Messrs. Charles C. McCarthy and L. M. Prince, Jr. 's
request for abandoning a portion of the subject road showed that the
portion of the Old Kailua-Keauhou Middle Road referred to by Messrs. McCarthy
and Prince is not being utilized for vehicular traffic and the County has
discontinued maintaining the road, which is overgrown with vegetative growth.
It is our recommendation that the portion of the Old Kailua-Keauhou Middle
Road as delineated in red and marked Exhibit "A" be abandoned.
The attached road abandonment resolution has been reviewed and approved
by the Corporation Counsel and is submitted for the Council's consideration
and adoption.
