Resolution 678-20 conditions 5G deployment on it being "proven safe".
Proving that something is "safe" is the same as trying to prove it's "not harmful." In other words, Resolution 678-20 is
trying to prove a negative. That's a logical fallacy:

Since no one can prove a negative, if the resolution passes, the net effect will be that 5G will never under any
circumstances be deployed on the Big Island.
If that's what the supporters of this resolution want, why not just say so? Why the subterfuge?
My takeaway is the resolution is not being offered in good faith, as evidenced by its circular reasoning.
The other part of this is that, in the absence of any credible evidence of human health effects, timely deployment of
5G will make the Big Island a viable place to live for those of us whose livelihood depends (at least in part) on
reliable high speed connectivity to the Internet.
Without 5G, the Big Island will lose a lot of good, able and effective people.
The net result is that both the community and the local economy will become smaller and less diverse.
The bottom line is that Resolution 678-20 is disingenuous and harmful to the people of Hawaii.
