Aloha Council Members,
My name is Jon Crowell, thank you for reading my written testimony.
I am a long time big Island resident. I represent a large community of residents that support immediate independent
health studies into 5G / WiFi 6 before any form of deployment in allowed. I am one of many practicing coaches that
are health conscious role models for athletes and youthful individuals. I personally practice Brazilian jiu jitsu. A large
part of my focus is on general health and physical fitness. I can say there are many health conscious people here in the
State of Hawaii, sport athletes, ocean professionals, PT's and body workers, etc. and we all believe in optimal health.
We do not want another potential cause of illness and our communities cannot afford it.
I believe that It will not be long before the international tests and research come out to the American public, the
affects on our blood and bodies will be known and it will surface. The health concerns are real. Are
families possibly being negatively impacted by the CURRENT wireless technologies???
When lawsuits from sick individuals force the wireless communications industry to explain why studies were not
done, what will our state say, we overlooked it???
VATho will pay for the damages???
These are valid questions to ask.
5G andWifi 6 bring with them huge liabilities for any parties participating, promoting, or installing new systems
without proper review, environmental impact statements and thoroughly testing human biological effects.
(It is a no brainer).
There is talk of plans to beam Wifi down from drones onto Hawaii residents. The say the operation is already being
built out with a runway on lanai!? How can it be legal to use microwaves from the sky. Onto a public who did not
vote and did not give consent.
Forgive me, It is outrageous.
Heres the thing, with all honesty, we are talking about simple microwaves, digitally pulsed packages of information
sent across the air. The speed of your WiFi is only as fast as the electro magnetic field is hot. (V/m) volts per meter is
one type of measurement.
I have a background level of .02 at home with no wifi router. I've had other environments metered at well over 6.0!
This is with our current wireless systems! (The international standard for safety is 1.0)! We are all in a strong electro
magnetic field all the time, and without much of a break nowadays.
Lets study the affects and make sure Hawaii stays healthy! The data is out there. Microwave technology has been
studied to great lengths. It is well documented in military applications, and is often found to be quite damaging to
people.
Lets get behind conscious healthy implementation of technology. We must -oppose reckless practices! If not only for
the pending liability, but for the health of our communities, including schools where children spend their day! We
have an obligation to make sure we Have taken every step to protect the public health, when it comes to private
interests and technology.

I strongly oppose rapidly building out for a 5G system that will possibly leave people ill, and leave them with
no course of action. ,
It is illegal in my humble opinion for those who are rushing the infrastructure for 5G through, to posture themselves
to have no oversight and to not be held accountable if people get sick or die! It is a huge unacceptable liability for the
