I am writing this testimony in favor of Resolution 678-20. 1 strongly believe that more in-depth research studies need to take place on
the effects of any 5G infrastructure prior to, rather than because of, the possible negative occurrences.The health and well being of
our people and environment deserve the full understanding of what may happen if such structures are erected in any neighborhood
on our island.
I am extremely concerned about cell towers/monopoles that are going up near residents, schools and especially on agricultural land.
We can't keep destroying our environment and then worry about how to fix it later. I am very troubled by the approval of the special
permit on agricultural land in Kurtistown that had faced so much public opposition but the hearing was done online. I submitted my
testimony and asked for a response and did not receive one.
If you could please acknowledge this email, I would very much appreciate it.
We will vote for those candidates who are looking out for environment and our people.
