I am reaching out to you today to ask for your support for the above resolution.
I ask you to protect our aina; our environment's stability, our keiki, you, your families, and everyone who resides on this aina.
I ask you to go into your heart and do whatever you can to keep this technology out of our county until it is proven to be safe
by 3rd party researchers with no affiliation or funding from these telecom companies.
It is all of our kuleana to make sure this is not detrimental for our environment, for we the people, and for the longevity and
success of our aina. Big telecom will do whatever they can to activate the ugly 5G towers everywhere on our aina and you must
know that we and you have the right to prevent this from happening. These towers are hideous and greatly affect the property
value of any home they are put close to not to mention all the other negative effects. Do you want one of these towers in your
backyard? I personally do not want to be a science experiment!
As you most likely know, we cannot take the stance of this technology affecting our health as the means to prevent these
towers being brought up according to corporate law. Even when my life and health was personally destroyed by 4g technology.
There is clear evidence that this technology and the technology of 5G is detrimental to the bees in the same mechanism that it
is detrimental to every other living thing.
The studies done with bees on 4G technology has shown that it is greatly affecting their pollination and hive productivity.
There has been no big studies on 5G technology and it will be operating on a higher level of radiofrequency from 7-20 GHz and
in the future 20-100GHz. This non -ionizing radiation is already affecting the produce grown on our lands as well as the insects
and bees that allow that to happen in the first place. This is done through the same mechanism that our bodies are impacting
by this technology which is through the Voltage Gated Calcium Channels or VGCC's
The exposure to EMF's like 4G and soon to be 5G tech activate these channels in all life and disregulate the influx of calcium
into the cell which through a cascade of effects, creates cell death in every living thing.
I am not a luddite and I recognize the benefits of advancing the network and infrastructure of our aina. We must recognize
that there are alternatives like fiber optic networks which can be employed that have the same benefit without all the harm.
All in all, whatever benefits are derived from the deployment of 5G is far outweighed by the high possibility of it destroying our
food supply through the death of bees and other vital insects to lead to a further depressed economy and ultimately the
destruction of our aina's great potential.
