Aloha County Council, I am providing this written testimony in support of resolution 678 — 20,
to make Hawaii County by 5G free. That is, I want to eliminate and ban the 5G technology from
contaminating and disrupting life as we know it on our beautiful paradise, the Big Island of Hawaii.
I have lived on The Big Island, in Kailua Kona for 33 years. I've been licensed to practice on the big
Island for almost 40 years. This is my home and I have raised my family here. I continue to have an
active practice treating patients islandwide.
There are over 2000 studies on the effect of 5G on cells of humans and animals cell membranes
which include studies showing the damaging effects on calcium influx, and hypoxia, and disruption
of the immune system , brain cancer etc. These studies have shown the detrimental effects on
animals and insects , which in our eco system in Hawaii, a complex interacting system on which
our food production depends, can be disrupted and devastated by these electromagnetic
frequencies. In Hawaii, we are highly dependent on our pollinators, the bees, the microorganisms in
the soil, the plants, trees and the agricultural industry can be destroyed if these electromagnetic
frequency disruptors are allowed to roll out. Please do not let the implementation and rollout of 5G
destroy our island paradise, our children, our food source, and the beautiful flowers and trees and
vegetation which play such an important role in making this island one of the healthiest and most
wonderful places in the world to live.
