Your Committee on Public Works and Mass Transit, to which was referred Resolution No. 701-20,
reports as follows:
Resolution No. 701-20, introduced by Committee Chair Susan L.K. Lee Loy at the request of the
Administration and transmitted via Communication No. 1022 from Deputy Corporation Counsel
Danny B. Patel dated July 28, 2020, accepts the dedication of roadway lots A-1, A-2, and A-3,
identified as Tax Map Key Nos. (3) 4-5-011:042, (3) 4-5-011:043, and (3)4-5-011:044, situated at
Namoku, District of Hamakua, in the County of Hawai`i. The landowner, Woo Family Limited
Partnership, wishes to dedicate the roadways and all improvements to the County of Hawai`i.
Chair Lee Loy noted the transmittal communication included supportive letters from the Office of the
Corporation Counsel, Planning Department, Department of Environmental Management, Department of
Water Supply, and Department of Public Works. There was no further discussion.
Your Committee is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 701-20, and recommends its
adoption.
