| support this resolution.The precautionary principle dictates making sure something does not cause harm before proceeding,
especially in regards to public health. My daughter and son-in-law live in Hilo and I am concerned for their and other's safety in
relation toSG technology. Cigarettes were deemed healthy, until they weren't. So was perfluorooctanoic acid or PFOA used in Teflon
cookware and decades later the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has stated exposure to PFAS can have serious health
effects on humans, including decreased fertility,immune system disruptions and increased risk for certain cancers. Please do your
due diligence as caretakers of the public trust before rolling out this technology.
