Aloha Hawaii County Council Members,
I implore you to halt any deployment of 5G infrastructure until we have definitive public health studies that show it to
be safe for both humans and our environment. The preliminary studies of 5a technology are highly concerning, with
the use of I mm waves being able to cross the blood-brain barrier and can easily pass through the skin causing harmful
radiation exposure.The following article outlines 8 major, well-documented, harmful affects of the type of EMF
exposure caused by 5g:

This is especially concerning for infants & children who do not have fully developed brains that can be severely
affected by radiation exposure. This exposure can lead to a number of health concerns including; DNA oxidative
damage, sperm dysfunction, post-natal developmental disabilities and many others. There are numerous studies that

The NIH along with the WHO also classify RF radiation as a group 2B possible human carcinogen:

Deploying 5g technology would increase the blanket radiation that is already occuring but making it much more
dangerous to human and animal health without individuals informed consent. It should be everyone's choice as to
whether they want to be exposed to this type of radiation but with the massive number of towers needed in order to
deploy 5g, most if not all individuals would lose that right and be exposed regardless if they choose to use 5g or not.
Also, as an agricultural community, the effects 5g could have upon pollinators is potential lethal. This study shows

Please protect our community, children, environment, economy and well-being by demanding that more research be
produced to show that 5g is safe before giving permission to deploy it in Hawaii.
