Aloha,
I'm writing in support of Resolution 678-20.
From my own experience,, I know that exposure to wireless radiation can have negative health effects. I live on
Oahu and am being injured by 4G cell-phone antennas on a neighbor building's roof. Since I live on the highest
floor of my building, the antennas causing me aches and pains and other symptoms are, unfortunately, close to
my apartment.
While the communications industry often claims new infrastructure were employed due to demand, I had never
heard anybody complain about a lack of connectivity before the antennas that are now torturing me were
installed. My symptoms worsened when older antennas were replaced with, obviously, worse ones at the
beginning of this year.
It would have to be expected that exposure to 5G infrastructure would render my problems considerably worse.
Frank Clegg, former President of MicroSoft Canada, has nothing to gain by opposing his own industry, but has now dedicated
his life to warning people about the dangers of wireless radiation, especially 5G (10 min):

As this now declassified document shows,research on the biological effects of millimeter waves,which 5G uses,was conducted in the Soviet
Union in the 1970s.The results are more than disturbing:

If further research is conducted,it has to be made sure that it will be independent research,not research fabricated by special interest groups
like Big Telecom.

The fact that,due to COVID-191 many have been working from home does not make 5G more urgent or more important.As a matter of fact,
wireless technology is not needed at all in homes. I have fiber-optic internet myself.Fiber to the premises (FTTP)is faster,more reliable,
more secure and,above all,safer than 5G.I understand the need to improve internet connection in rural areas.However, 5G is not the
appropriate answer.There are much safer technologies:
