Subject: 5G testimony: Support Resolution 678-20 RECEIVED

Date JUL 2 1 2020
Aloha council members,
The jury seems to still be out on the physical deleterious affects of 5G. However, the issue that concerns me most
and should concern all Americans are claims that the technology, especially in the hands of corporations from
countries who have far different goals for the world than do democracies, will allow more individual surveillance
potential. This is also a concern depending who is running our own country, as there are no limits to what our current
federal administration will do to protect their power, and they may continue to hold power for years to come.
I ask that this technology be held back in our state and on our island until some serious issues are resolved. As always,
the Precautionary Principle is the one to follow when there is doubt about whether human health and safety are at risk.
Mahalo for supporting Resolution 678-20.
Sincerely,
