I am writing in support of Bill 179.
Given the lack of inventory of affordable housing it is important that we allow different options like Tiny Homes and Factory Built
homes,which also help conserve our limited natural resources.
The County needs to take a leadership stand on working to serve the community with an affordable housing option.The Carpenters
Union protest against the concept of manufactured homes is eliminating solutions for our housing needs.Contractors and union
construction companies do not build for consumers who want a modest residence. No one is building homes under 200k due to it
not being cost-effective. Factory-built housing and Tiny Homes are viable and affordable options for this segment of our population
that needs housing they can afford.
Please help us find a solution for our community by passing Bill 179.
