It is with appreciation for your long -sightedness that I welcome and support this resolution to block the buildout of
5G technology. Already, ample scientific evidence exists of health and safety concerns regarding exposure to these
transmitters. As the world pivots towards climate mitigation and coping with other results of damaging technologies,
let us remember our commitment to the natural beauty and open spaces of Hawaii as our foundational
"resource." From migratory birds to insect pollinators to our human keiki growing up, all these are eminently worth
protecting from yet another dubious technology which may provide some short-term advantages, but which pose a
menace to long-term public and environmental safety.
