Subject: please pass 678-20 to stop 5-G construction on Hawaii Island
Aloha Councilmembers,
I urge your strong vote IN FAVOR of resolution 678-20 to prohibit construction of 5G towers on Hawaii island until they are
proven to be harmless to people and the environment. Please consider adopting the precautionary principle with regard to
new technology such as 5G. In addition to health and safety concerns there are legitimate concerns around internet privacy as
well as the concerns of property owners around eminent domain when companies are deciding where to build these towers.
I hope these community concerns will be addressed in a serious and meaningful way PRIOR to approving any new construction
of 5G towers on Hawaii Island. Perhaps you could hold an open forum with medical experts as well as lawyers knowledgeable
on property rights and internet privacy rights.
