Aloha Council Members,
I am in SUPPORT of the following Resolution 675-20
Resolution 678-20: CALLING UPON ALL TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANIES AND
PUBLIC UTILITIES OPERATING IN HAWAII COUNTY TO CEASE THE BUILDOUT OF 5G
WIRELESS INFRASTRUCTURE UNTIL SUCH TECHNOLOGIES HAVE BEEN PROVEN
THROUGH INDEPENDENT RESEARCH AND TESTING TO BE SAFE TO HUMAN
HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT.
There are bans of 5g established now in many communities, nationally and
internationally. It is recognized that there has not been sufficient evidence
presented to communities of the safety of 5G even as the technology is rolling
out.
At present, with so many warnings from credible medical researchers and
clinical professionals, it is reasonable that we the people here in this County
ask for your protection from 5G until such time as research has been able to
establish that 5G technology does not cause harm to human tissue and thus
pose a real and present threat.
Surely, ignoring the warnings that are coming from the medical and science
communities will present exposure to liability on the part of governments
everywhere.
Your duty is of care for the people in this County. There are details, statistics
and other information that Iknow you will receive as part of other testimony
so I will leave it there. Please vote to support this important resolution. Thank
you for your work to consider the health and well being of your constituents
here on this beautiful island.
