My wife and I live in Honomu, and we ask that you support Resolution 678-20-
Resolution 678-20: CALLING UPON ALL TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANIES AND
PUBLIC UTILITIES OPERATING IN HAWAII COUNTY TO CEASE THE BUILDOUT OF SG
WIRELESS INFRASTRUCTURE UNTIL SUCH TECHNOLOGIES HAVE BEEN PROVEN
THROUGH INDEPENDENT RESEARCH AND TESTING TO BE SAFE TO HUMAN
HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT.
Electromagnetic radiation has the potential to harm humans and other life forms, and the safety of this new 5G
wireless technology is unproven.
To protect the public health, safety and welfare, we ask you to adopt this resolution and keep this technology off the
Big Island unless and until it can be conclusively shown to be without harm. Faster internet browsing and streaming is
no benefit when people are made sick by it.
