No. 734-20 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 11:03 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 734-20, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 734-20, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 1082 <br /> dated September 18, 2020, authorizes the Office of the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the <br /> University of Hawai`i. <br /> This resolution provides $21,850.16 from the Department of Research and Development to the University <br /> of Hawai`i to fund its Extension Services to Manage Little Fire Ants on Hawai`i Island project. Funds <br /> would be used to distribute outreach materials, provide staff support, and for supplies and travel. <br /> A motion to move Resolution No. 734-20 to Council with a positive recommendation was made by <br /> Council Member Herbert M.
