This communication for the Committee on Public Safety is in response to the request from
Council Member Matt Kanealii-Kleinfelder for a monthly update regarding the statistics and
identities of children classified as runaway or missing in Hawai'i County. The following
information being provided is as of September 30, 2020:
The total number of current runaways is 15.
The names of runaways with signed current media waivers are:
