RESOLUTION NO. 76S 20
RESOLUTION CHANGING THE FUNDING SOURCE OF ONE (1)
SENIOR ACCOUNT CLERK (TEMP) POSITION
WHEREAS, in 2007, the United States Department of Commerce,
Economic Development Administration (EDA) had authorized funding for a
Senior Account Clerk (Temp) to assist with the management of post-disaster
economic rebuilding and revitalization activities for the County; and
WHEREAS, the federal funding for this one (1) Senior Account Clerk
(Temp), position number 00-04732, has ceased due to the closing of the
Disaster Recovery Coordinators grant; and
WHEREAS, this position is currently vacant and the Department of Public
Works wishes to utilize the position to assist with FEMA record keeping and
reporting to obtain disaster/emergency reimbursements; and
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that the County will fund the Senior Account Clerk (Temp) position (Position No.
00-04732).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds should be available in the
various regular salaries and wages accounts of the Department of Public Works
for this position.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of
Hawaii shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of the Mayor and to
the Departments of Finance, Human Resources and Public Works.
