RESOLUTION NO. 430 96
WHEREAS, Takashi Domingo has been a Council Member of the
County of Hawaii since December 1976, representing Council
District 1, Hamakua, North Hilo; and
WHEREAS, during the past twenty years, Councilmember
Domingo has served as Chairman of the Committee on Planning;
and
WHEREAS, during his tenure, Councilmember Domingo has also
been a member of numerous Standing Committees; and
WHEREAS, through his good work Councilmember Domingo has
become known across the nation as an ambassador of Aloha; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Domingo's judicious temperament has
made him a valuable asset to the Council; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Domingo will complete his term on
December 2, 1996.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that it hereby extends its sincere
appreciation to Councilmember Takashi Domingo, for his years of
valuable public service together with their best wishes for continued
good health, success and prosperity. May the past happy memories
be a prelude to future memories!
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of
Hawaii transmit a true copy of this resolution to Councilmember
Takashi Domingo.
