Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 750-20, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 750-20, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 1107
dated October 2, 2020, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one
fiscal year for multi-year leases for fourteen copy machines for the County of Hawai`i Police
Department.
Resolution No. 750-20 authorizes the Mayor to enter into five-year lease agreements with an
approximate cost of$200 per copier.
A motion to move Resolution No. 750-20 to Council with a positive recommendation was made by
Council Member Rebecca Villegas, and seconded by Council Member Karen Eoff.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 750-20, and
recommends its adoption.
