his property to the County of Hawaii. The property is located in the Royal Gardens subdivision.
Our records indicate that the property is covered by lava and is assessed at $100.00 for tax
assessment purposes. The owner is delinquent in the payment of real property taxes in the
amount of $41.19 as of 9/30/99.

property and want to surrender ownership to Hawaii County for disposition. Are we allowed to
do so?
I don't want to let this drag on and have a Lein placed on the property which might affect
my credit rating.
Is there a procedure for disposal of unwanted properties in your county?
