These funds are to be used to prevent,prepare <br /> for, and respond to the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19)pandemic in Hawaii County. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating a CDBG <br /> COVID-19 CV3 grant in the amount of$1,077,958. <br /> The Office of Housing and Community Development is requesting that this bill be waived from <br /> a <br /> Finance Committee and be placed on the December 23, 2020 Council agenda to expedite the <br /> receipt of these funds.
