Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a new multi-year lease agreement for a multifunction copy machine for the
Department of Research and Development. The monthly cost will be approximately
$112.50. The lease for the current copier will be expiring on December 31, 2020 and the
department wishes to enter into a new lease agreement.

A. REQUEST:
To enter into a multi-year lease agreement for five (5) years for a multifunction copier for the Department of
Research and Development's Kailua-Kona office.
B. BACN!:GROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED)
The lease on the current copier will, be expiring December 31, 2020. The Department is anticipating a
monthly -lease of no more than 60 months (5 -year lease) at approximately $112.50 per month.
The (.:ost per copy shall not exceed B&W per print rate of $0.0082 for prints more than 2,000 per month) and
color per print rate of $0.0459.
