The Office of Housing and Community Development has been awarded federal funds from the
United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the Voucher Federal
Gr,.nt Program, Foster Youth to Independence (FYI) Initiative. These funds will be used to pay
for the voucher subsidies related to the Foster Youth to Independence (FYI) Initiative and to
cover the program's operating expenses.
Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill
for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating a Foster Youth to
Independence Initiative grant in the amount of $200,000.
