a. New Equipment required to utilize the latest firefighting tactics

3. Certadose Syringes Approx. cost$300/4 units
a. Provides medics with accurate pediatric medication dosages

4. Thermal Imaging Cameras Approx. cost$6,000 ea.
a. Vastly improve Fire Companies ability to see through smoke and darkness
b. Need 12 more units for all companies to be outfitted. Requesting one unit each as donations permit.

a. New innovative firefighting nozzles that reduce backwards pressure enabling firefighters to move
more efficiently during a fire.

a. Provides rural Ka`u with a tool to get a lifesaving flotation device out to victims in a timely manner.

13. Honda Rancher ATV Approx. cost $7,500 each
a. Improve response time for lifeguards as well as provide logistical support
b. Received 2 ATV's(Punalu'u& Hapuna)
14. Surf Rescue Boards Approx. cost$1,000 each
a. Water Safety Officer's primary response tool
