Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a new multi-year lease agreement for a large capacity multifunction copy machine for
the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney. The monthly cost will be approximately $750.00.
The lease for the current copier will be expiring in February 2021.

A. REQUEST:
To enter into a multi-year lease agreement for five (5) years for a multifunction large capactiy copier at the
Kona Prosecutor's Office.

B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION(USE ADDITIONAL.SHEETS AS NEEDED)` fi
We are requesting authorization to enter into a five year lease agreement to replace a multi-function copier in
the Prosecuting Attorney's Kona office. The current copier lease will expire in February 2021. The lease will
cost approximately $750 per month. This is more cost effective than purchasing a replacement machine and
paying maintenance charges.
