These <br /> funds will be used to purchase personal protective equipment for the Fire Department in response <br /> to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill <br /> for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $345,373.33 grant. The <br /> Fire Department requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and be placed on <br /> the January 20, 2021 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
