These funds will be used to purchase personal protective equipment for the Fire Department in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $345,373.33 grant. The Fire Department requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and be placed on the January 20, 2021 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
