Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Howard Kelly of Council District 3 to the Liquor Control
Adjudication Board.
Mr. Kelly is a lifelong resident of Hawai'i, who is currently enjoying retirement with over thirty
years of experience with Hawaii Electric Light Company.
Mr. Kelly is a valued member of the community, presently serving on the Board of Directors of
Na Leo TV, and as a former member of the Lehua Jaycees. He states that he is not a member of
any political party.
Mr. Kelly previously served on the County of Hawaii Liquor Commission in numerous
capacities, including Chairman, from 2008 through 2012. If confirmed, Mr. Kelly will serve a
5-year term to end December 2025.
