Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate George R. "Rick" Robinson of Council District 6 to the Police
Commission.
Mr. Robinson is currently self-employed as a real estate commissioner and receiver with the
federal and state courts. His prior experience includes Director of Commercial Real Estate for
Kamehameha Schools and as Vice President of Western Farm Credit Bank.
Mr. Robinson is a dedicated contributor to our community, presently serving on the Kona Soil
and Water Conservation District, Hawaii Association of Conservation Districts, and is an active
member of the Board of Ethics, term ending 12/2020. He has previously held positions on the
Board of Water Supply, Merit Appeals Board, State Soil and Water Conservation District, and
many more.
Mr. Robinson served in the U.S. Coast Guard, is a graduate of University of Hawai'i and
Kellogg Foundation, a Certified Commercial Investment Manage, and a life-long resident of
Hawai'i. If confirmed, he will serve a 5-year term to end December 2025.
